What flooring would you recommend for dog with arthritis?

My dog is getting old and has arthritis. She tends to slip and slide across my tile floor in the kitchen. What type of flooring would be better for this area?

    An older dog with this same problem and foyer tile floors it worked great for her and helped keep the dirt.

    I have put down throw rugs with grip backing to help both older dogs and cats walk across slick surfaces which gave them no”traction” and made them afraid.

    The best thing for an arthritic dog to walk on or you can get non slip booties.
